Youth Editorial Board: SUMMER APPLICANTS!

Dream of getting published? Latinitas is seeking motivated and talented young Latinas, ages 13-25, across the nation who want to get published, make an impact, have their voice heard, motivate other Latinitas, while building their resume. Latinitas, get the experience you need as our future leaders of America by becoming involved with the Youth Editorial Advisory Board. Live abroad? We want to hear YOUR voice as a Latina! Young latinas interested in developing their writing and multimedia skills and getting published in LatinitasMagazine.com are invited to apply. If you are interested in a career in media or journalism, want to build your writing skills, want to make a difference, and want to get published, then this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be gaining PR and marketing skills, as well as gaining networking experience and contacts! Applicants are not required to have previous writing or blogging experience, but basic/general knowledge of grammar and syntax is required.

What is the Youth Editorial Advisory Board?
The Latinitas Youth Editorial Advisory Board is a group of young writers ages 13-25 who assist with writing articles for our magazine, provide feedback on the direction of the of the magazine, and participate in our online community (www.MyLatinitas.com) by blogging and using several of the interactive features on the site.
 
WE ARE ACCEPTING SUMMER APPLICATIONS!! Youth writers are selected through an application process; you simply have to fill out our online application.  We look for quality over quantity, we want you to let your natural talent shine. 

Deadline for our 3 month Summer program: June 1st, 2012, 11:59 PM MST.

Application Requirements:
● Be between the ages 13- 25
● Fill out the online application
● Have an interest in developing writing and multimedia skills
● Want to get published
● Be motivated and want to make a difference
● Basic/general knowledge of grammar and syntax is required.
● Have access to internet and e-mail.
● Most importantly: Want to have fun while building your skills and resume!
