YES! My cultural beliefs have affected my future in pursuing my goals. They have inspired me to learn more about my cultural heritage and history and utilize what I have learned to fight the negative Mexican/Mexican-American/Chicano/Chicana stereotypes that are present in society. Anyone else out there think the same way as I do??
