In seventh grade, a girl I knew for three years was killed in a car accident. The car was overfilled with people. Because of this, the passengers in the back seat, including her, were not wearing a seat belt. She and her sister's boyfriend died in the accident.

A neighbor of mine also killed himself after driving drunk. His girlfriend had broken up with him and really depressed. Speeding while exiting of the freeway, he crashed after losing control at a sharp turn.

I've also heard stories in my town about someone who died when he was going home from prom because he was in a car with a drunk driver.
