I've volunteered at a kids camp for almost three years now. It takes place at our community park, Delores Wright Park. and it is free to anyone from ages 5-12. I take care of 7 and 8 year olds from 9 am to 1:30 pm. I really like doing this because its a fun way to keep busy during vacation time and meet people from other places like mexico, new jersey, massachussets, camden and chicago. Watching the inauguration of our 44th president was really interesting since im not really into politics. As I was sitting there in class, next to my classmates, it made me feel sort of honored to be in this generation. I am happy to know that i was present during a making of history in our country, that our 44th president was African-American.
