After reading Saray's funny yet inspiring poem "Soooonnnniiiiaaa" and Dominique's beautifully symbolic poem "My Next Door Neighbor" I couldn't help, but look at El Paso and Mexico in a whole new way.

Bullying

In the past year or so bullying has become a serious issue throughout America. It is not just in high school, but in middle schools and elementary schools as well. It is so sad to see that people can treat others this way, especially at such a young age. What is even sadder is what little school officials are doing to prevent the bullying. We see in so many cases of bullying that the student being bullied cries for help, but often times no one is there to listen.
