I always try my hardest to learn the right way to say words in Spanish.
I try not to fall into the lazy pit of using slang or making up my own invented "translations".
Sometimes it's hard not to do that and sometimes it's funny to do it but I really love the language the Spanish language because it makes me feel closer to my heritage to listen to it and be able to speak it, that's why I take pride in speaking it as correctly as I can.

Tonight I was watching the 11:00 o'clock news in Spanish language channel Univision. I saw a package about the fact that Hispanics continue to identify themselves through their individual nationalities rather than under the umbrella term "Hispanic"or the similar "Latino".
