Posted on October 2, 2014 at 12:00pm 0 Comments

Have you heard of Carmelita Torres? She was a part of the Bath Riots of 1917. She has been compared to Rosa Parks because she took a stand against discrimination and inhumanity. Warriors and fighters are a few of the words they chose to describe the women of nuestra cultura. After reflecting on our discussion, I quickly…

Yeah That would be great, I would really like to go, but I guess I don't need a ride since it is going to be in the same building. Is there some type of ticket I need to get for the event?

yes, your welcome it was fun. There was a teen that i gave your email to, she goes to Canutillo and she said like she wants to try and start something over there. The counselor was there and the mom and they thought that would be a good idea too. so i hope she gets in contact with you. She is a writer for her schools newspaper and so thats how she got interested initially.
