So, um, I'm going dancing tonight.
There's a venue here in Austin that is hosting a "Latin Dance Night", and a few friends and I thought the lameness of it all, coupled with the welcome opportunity to shirk our academic responsibilities, would make it fun to go to. The problem, though, is that I can't dance.
Not that I haven't tried. I danced ballet for nearly seven years before I left for college, and every summer, the dance academy would host workshops that would teach… Continue

Time to add little life experience to this…(if you get what I mean holla!)
Since I missed the last topic, which I really wanted to do…and now there is a new one. I though it wise to combine them both. Like a big peanut butter sandwich (warning: there will be a lot of food referencing, I think I’m hungry!)
First the present matter. What DOES OBAMA MEAN TO ME? Hhhhmm,… Continue

The college search process is stressful for the average teenager. High school juniors and seniors need to worry about keeping grades up, staying active in extracurricular activities, working a part time job, and all while maintaining a social life. The time-consuming college search process can easily suck away time, as well as money — with cross-country campus visits, and application fees.
That’s why CollegeClickTV.com has created the solution: bringing the campus and peer reviews to… Continue

When I saw Barack Obama being sworn into his presidency, all I thought was; "WOW
. Finally, after eight years of hardship, someone worth being the president is the president." I felt gratitude, I felt safety. I felt as if even though our country has been through some rough times the past years, maybe we will reach the status of 'great' once again, and with Barack Obama in office; I do honestly believe that might be the case. Health care, one of my greatest concerns, is one veiw of his… Continue

My enitre school day on Januray 20th consitsed of me watching tv. Every class had their tv turned on to hear what Obama's speech had in store for us that day. I was really overwhelmed with excitement as he finally became our new president. My friend questioned why i was so happy, she believed people were completely blinded by what he told us. Her exact words were " Bush promised the same thing, and look where we are now". Although I know there will be no change in a blink of an eye I honestly… Continue

Watching the inauguration of our 44th president was really interesting since im not really into politics. As I was sitting there in class, next to my classmates, it made me feel sort of honored to be in this generation. I am happy to know that i was present during a making of history in our country, that our 44th president was African-American.

Everyday, My Heart Grows Larger and Larger. Everyday I Overcome Yesterday's Obstacles. I Am In Love With Life. I Love My Family; They Are My Motivation. I Love What I Am Involved In And I Love The Fact That I Can Be Happy Just Doing Me. I May Be an Idiot Sometimes, And I Do Really Blonde Things, And I Am Known To Be Naiive. But When It Comes Down To It, Only I Can Do What I Do. Only I Can Conquer Struggle After Struggle. Only I Can Put Up With The Hardships That Hurt And Try To Break Me. No One… Continue
