I have always been fascinated by the red carpet, in part because SO many people are obsessed with the jewelry, designer labels, the hair, the makeup, shoes, and so on. Celebrities are under microscopic inspection and a single flaw can land them under the “worst dressed” list. Critics can be fairly cruel sometimes, but does their opinion truly matter? Personally, yes and…Continue

In the midst of last week's SOPA and PIPA outrage the members of club Latinitas at Langford Elementary made a shocking discovery. Langford Latinitas sought to find more info on the stop online piracy acts and the protesting that had gone hand in hand with them. While researching one girl came across a startling article.

With that said, I have been job searching and job searching since I walked. But it still feels awesome that I can sleep in and not worry about textbooks or materials for the semester. But I do miss some part of being in college.…Continue

My day started quite early and was non-stop all morning. It wasn't until I got to the Latinitas office that I heard the heart-breaking news that the one and only Ms. Etta James had passed away this morning in Riverside, California at the age of 73.
I can't remember the first time I heard Ms. James' classic, hit song, "At Last", but I do recall at a very young age relishing in the splendor of the lyrics as well as her brilliant voice. There is something timeless about her…Continue
