Living in a Virtual World: Farmville

Farmville is a facebook application in where you can create your own farm. What is an application and where can I get one? If you sign up onto facebook you will see a lot of invitations to join yoville, mafia wars, sorority life, aquarium life etc. All these neat applications where created by Zynga. SICK SCIENCE: Meteor Shower Time!!!!

I have always had a fascination with staring at the night sky. Although my fascination is not one that keeps me outside for hours on my roof, star gazing or buying telescopes or what not, I loved the idea that here are millions of lights illuminating the earth from immeasurable distances.

LULAC Latina Women Council

Living in a world full of Sterotypes

So, what do you call yourself? A preppy, chola, jock, fresa, daddy's girl, slut? Yeah you heard me? Personally I have been put under the Fresa category several times, but not so much recently. But is it necessary to fit into a category? Nos, I am more of the young mom, is that even a category? Yes there is, it between a soccer mom and a regular mom? First Day

First and foremost I would like to introduce myself. My name is Xochitl Lugo and I am new to Latinitas. I will be volunteering for the afterschool program every Friday, (YAY). Back to Reality...

As Spring Break is over and since we all lost that extra hour of sleep :(. we all feel a little off balance because we are back to our regular schedule. I know it feels weird for me and I bet for everyone else to get up, get dressed, go to school and sit in class for an hour to an hour and a half listening to our professor give lecture. We all miss sleeping in, going to the mall, going to movies, and of course hanging out with our friends during the day.

I can't believe it!

Spring break is over and only tan tan tan 8 more weeks of school left, which means only 16 days left of class for each of my classes.
