So over the weekend, I was watching ESPN, sports movies, and of course the NBA playoffs and I have to realize that in the athletic world MEN are in complete power. Now don’t start to assume that this blog post is to bash on men and make them feel not worthy to exist. Instead, this post is to have women become more aware of how much we put up with while living in a man’s world. With this said, let…

The Real First Thanksgiving
Most people think of pilgrims from England and Native Americans on the Plymouth Rock when they think of the First Thanksgiving in November of 1621. But, the real first Thanksgiving took place along the U.S./Mexico border in San Elizario, Texas with the Spanish in 1598. As semester starts to wind down and come to an end, professors all over University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) start to get ready on grading all these upcoming assignments. Ths past week I spoke to my professor and we had discussed some tips that can help college and high school students with these assignments.
