Shy

Im fine, Im fine..... dont worry, just keep on going.

Hold your head high! Let them know you are not afraid to speak!

I look around, same faces every morning, everyday, never changes.

Im comfortable with people I know, one of my close friends, lets go get breakfast! Talk or hardly talk, what ever her mood is, I know my distance.

The bell is going to ring, same faces I must see, say "Good Morning!" with a smile that shall…

How I Learned To Put Down My Cell Phone!

4 techniques for curbing smart phone addiction

When I first started university I was, shall we say, a bit too attached to home. By this I mean, I had just started a post-graduate degree in Journalism in New York, yet my heart (my family, my friends, and my boyfriend) were home in San Francisco, California.

What’s a homesick, lonely girl to do, but text and chat on her cell phone every waking hour to keep tabs on what’s going on at home? However, my school work started…

Makes You Think...

I originally started this blog to vent about my day or current struggles but I realized that they frustrated me even more than I expected. Therefore, I stopped and tried to find a new way to approach my blogging. I stumbled onto a few blogs and websites. One that really caught my eye was the Buried Life's Facebook page. I watched the show when it came out and didn't miss one episode. I ended up forcing the people around me to watch at least one…

Being Too Hard on Yourself

I'll admit there's certain girls my age that I look up to. At the age of 20, so many of us are exploring life in different ways and making sure there's record on Facebook and Twitter of every step we take.…

My Zen Moment...

One spring afternoon in May, I was walking back to my dorm room feeling uncharacteristically calm. I decided to sit on a grassy hill riddled with dandelions. I closed my eyes and took pleasure in the sensation of the late afternoon sun warming my eyelids. I instantly felt relaxed and  tuned into the outdoorsy sounds that are usually muted by the  overactive mind. I heard, with unusual crispness, some natural sounds like the wind whizzing through the leaves in the tress, and some less…

Introduction ( El Primer Capitulo)

Am I the only one who feels like their life has become a Latin Soap Opera? O.o Once things seem perfect something always happens. I don't even know how to begin?

My life is hectic. I have to drive my brother to soccer practice, keep an eye on my little sisters, not ignore my boyfriend, be a supporting daughter to my gym loving mother, and decided how to do it all without making myself unhappy.

So I decided to make this blog my venting tool and new best friend :-) So join me on…

I am not an Object.

I am not an object

I am not some toy you can play with

I am not some flower you can display in a vase

I am not an animal you can cage in.

It may be easy for you too look at me as just a piece of meat

However I have more honor than that, I have dignity.

Unless I consent, please move on.

I am not a challenge or a future conquest.

Please don't honk at me or whistle or leer,

that's just rude, and I am not in the…

Does this really matters?

Does this really matters? I think everyone has thought about this question many times. Have you been in a situation where you were very angry at someone? Have you been sad beacuse of something, or someone? I think if everyone is honest, all of us can agree in having passed for a similar situation, and the question that might passed through most of us is, does this really matters? Of course you think about this question after you got angry, or after you cry for hours, and if…

It's awesome and her music is soooo catchy!

And funny thing is a lot of the lyrics on the new album remind me of these past few months, and though the bad memories from these past months outnumber the good memories, I still love love love the cd!

Why Divorce Worked for Us

I came across an article today that discussed the divorce rate in the U.S. and which cities had the highest numbers. Both Indiana and Florida topped the chart.

This got me to thinking about how many children these people getting divorces have, as well as the reasons for the failure of marriages.

I was eight years old when my parents got divorced. However, I must say I'm pretty glad they did. I can assure you that my case differs entirely from that of anyone i've ever met who is either… Continue
