The Smile

It's been one month since my last final, yet I am still not on "vacation." This summer I decided to take a summer intensive course and so, this has kept quite busy. Very recently we had Dolores Huerta as a guest speaker in my school, she spoke in regards about education (what it really means to be 'educated'), education for women ( within their homes), and immigration. She brought up an interesting point on how having a degree does not really make you educated, it just makes you well prepare. It has become one my favorite books, so I thought I would write a book review for it, since I very much recomend it. The novel is about lily and snow flower, two friends living in 18th century china.
