Eccentricities Around the World

There are so many delicacies around the world. The French would consider a cricket to be eccentric, while the Thai would consider a crème brule chocolate to be just as crunchy as a cricket.

Humor around the world can be very similar. Any accessible monument has the potential to become a target for a laugh.

Streets and architecture can be very different and similar at times, regardless of the country or part of the world that they are found. But the pedestrian can always count on hearing a different tune or smelling a different scent. In some aspect or another, a difference can be found.
Order and beauty can be perceived differently. In some cases order is implemented to achieve beauty, and in others, organized chaos can provide the same result without an effort having to be made.
The concept of having the necessity to ask for money varies from country to country. While some will make an effort to discretely ask for a tip such as: “Tip for Elephant”, others will simply write it down and hope for a dime to drop. The saying “Beggars can’t be choosers” doesn’t necessarily apply for those that have no need to beg yet do.

Street entertainment is always interesting because it occurs under an unusual setting. There can be people of all ages and from different places around the world having a million conversations and being distracted by a million things, yet somehow many of them come to admire the street entertainer- either because they look unusual or simply because they are entertaining on the street.

Men relax sitting on a bench, reclining against a bright yellow wall, or getting their shoes polished. It seems as though, men at a certain age just want to be around men of a certain age.
