Advice for younger Latinas

If there is anything we need now more than ever are women leaders, but especially Latina leaders. I've seen many younger Latinas not having the tools needed to succeed, merely because they don't have role models to look up to. So my advice for all Latinas is to not let anyone put you down. Be strong, take chances, stand up for what you believe in, travel (it will enhance you with a global perspective), be confident, and remember that you are a person with great potential.

We all have the power to do great things. And no matter where you go and what you decide to do in life, never forget your culture or where your ancestors came from. You can be whatever you want to be, but being part of such a rich culture is a very rewarding thing, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
