Bring down the Chains

    Us teenage girls everyday suffer at least through one thing. Bad grade, our boyfriends or best friends saying goodbye, or sometimes back at home. All we can remember is our goal, our dream, our life. Like in movies the antagonist goes through difficulties but in the end they gain what they want. For life, we need to break from the chains that bring us down and be free from the pain we had been struck by from time to time. Our lives start in the dark. When we discover a secret, a small light shines beyond our eyes, but as we reach and discover the other side of the darkness, we lose our innocence. Many girls go further too much towards the light and are too young to gain it, so when they reach,

they are still in chains because they didn't learn at a pace.We can't learn too fast, but yet, we can't learn too slow. Us young latina girls have trouble breaking the chains, but in the end it's worth it. Why? Because we can live on our own, our own live, our body, our own peace.
