In the past year or so bullying has become a serious issue throughout America. It is not just in high school, but in middle schools and elementary schools as well. It is so sad to see that people can treat others this way, especially at such a young age. What is even sadder is what little school officials are doing to prevent the bullying. We see in so many cases of bullying that the student being bullied cries for help, but often times no one is there to listen.
It is particularly difficult for girls who are being bullied by other girls. With boys it is often physical bullying, like fighting, which is awful, but for girls it is often mental bullying which is just as much physically and emotionally draining. What should we do as the next generation to prevent it from happening in the future?
Have you ever been bullied? If so how did you deal with it? If you haven't what advice could you give someone who has been bullied?
