Ever since I was little, crafting has always been a favorite hobby of mine. Making Mother's Day gifts or paper flowers to decorate for Cinco de Mayo was what I looked forward to the most during my days in elementary school. As I grew up, my love of crafting came with me. I became obsessed with making jewelry and so I invested in beads, wire, and jump rings so I could make everything my heart desired. My jewelry phase passed, but I still love crafting. I'd much rather make my friends' birthday presents rather than buying something that doesn't mean much.
Because of my craft fixation, websites such as Pinterest and craftgawker are personal favorites! The problem is, I spend more time "pinning" and "favorite-ing" instead of actually working on crafts. And when I'm not online, I find excuses to not work on the projects I had in mind--I'm reading; I'm cleaning my room; I'm taking a nap; I'm out with friends. It just never happens.
Here are a few projects that have been on my crafting list forever and that I vow to actually work on.
Flower Bib Necklace from Mandipity.
Dictionary Lampshade from Mari Makes.
Script Scarf by Stamp 48.
Braided Hex Nut Bracelet by Honestly...WTF.
Melted Crayons Wall Art by Jenna Brown Photography.
