Daysi La Latinita from Miami

Hey everybody! How are my Latinitas? 

My name is Daysi. I'm 25 and I'm half-Nicaraguense and half-Spanish. 

But to tell you the truth, I'm a big time Miami girl. I love this city. It's not 

just because of the amazing sunshine, beautiful downtown area or of course

the famous and infamous Miami beach, it's because of the people! 

I've often heard complaints about people from Miami. "They are loud", 

"sometimes they are rude", or the most common one "people in Miami are 

just too superficial." But I don't know what those people are talking about. 

The people of Miami are what make it what it is: a fun, interesting and eclectic 

city, that is nothing if not ALIVE. People from almost every nation around the

globe call Miami home. Colombia, Guatemala, Spain, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil...

I can keep going and going. In that sense I've been extremely lucky to have been

born and raised in such a culturally rich community. There's always something 

exciting happening but best of all I'm always learning new things and having 

experiences that help me grow. I'm able to learn not only about the cultures of the 

diverse people around me but able to truly appreciate my own. Now, I'm here
