Diez y Seis
Hi girls!
Just a reminder, this weekend is the Diez y Seis. There will be lots of fun activities to take part in so I encourage everyone to attend an event. Get involved in your community and celebrate your Mexican heritage.
And for all those Latinas not of Mexican descent, September 15 - October 15 marks National Hispanic Heritage Month. If you would like some background information or have a little extra time, check out this page http://hispanicheritagemonth.gov/
I hope everyone has an awesome day at school and I hope to meet some of you in the near future. Again, I'm a new intern here at Latinitas and I'm so excited to be working for such a great organization.
