Fabulous Fashion Feild Trip

Today at Fashion Forwards Camp, we went to two local Austin boutiques, Strut and Marigold. First we went to strut where we did a fashion scavenger hunt. We had to find things that we like and then take pictures of them. At Strut (the first one that we went to), we talked to the manager about what it was like to be a manager and she told us that they get their clothes from LA Market, twice a year there's a big fest with a bunch of marketers and they sell their clothes. A strut agent goes out and gets a bunch of clothes for them to sell. They sell fashionable and up-to-date clothes. After that, we went to Marigold. Marigold is selled Indian clothing. They also have an axupunture room in the back. We got to watch the man do some acupunture on one of his clients hand. Back to the items. There's henna to aroma candles to bendis to belly dancer skirt thingies. They have shoes and hats and robe things, its a great store.
