George Lopez's Tonight Show

So yestreday I watched the George LOpez Show and it was pretty cool. I have to say though he makes a lot of dirty jokes and at times I thought it wasnt siutable for TV but overall it was a good show. Yesterday I guess was the first time it aired and he had Slash on as a musical appearence throughout the show he was playing with the band. He also had Charlie Scheen on. I was surprised when I had heard Charlie say that his real name was Carlos Esteves. I was like what, why did he change his name? I was sitting with my mom watching the show and like I was so surprised and I shouted my question sarcastically and with out a moment passing my mom replied in a sarcastic,refined sort of way, "he changed it for hollywood!" I was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat??????? I finished watching the show and I couldnt help but continue thinking that I felt like our race had been betrayed haaa... was he like ashamed of his name, was it not sophisticated enough? I also kind of felt that George lopez is a little too out there with some of the jokes he says. Sometimes I think that he makes others perceive us mexicans in a bad way. Hmmm I dunno =O haaa what do you guys think???????? I wanna know if im just being a hater!!!
