It's almost been 10 years

Nearly 10 years ago, I wondered what I wanted to do with the love I had for writing.  I left NYC to go to graduate school and, there, stumbled upon an undergraduate class called Latinos and Media and it called out to me.  I met a mentor Dr. Federico Subervi and my now sister in publishing Alicia Rascon.  We created the business plan for Latinitas - just a sketch of a dream. So ,when I look at MyLatinitas.com these days - an off-spring of Latinitas Magazine, I'm just in awe of how much rich, relevant content is being generated from the hearts and minds of Hispanic girls, teens and adults.  I love the lifeforce its become and that it represents a record of what can be and will be changed for the betterment of Latina girls and teens lives. Keep doing what you are doing MyLatinitas.com community. You blow my mind!
