Job Search Frustration
Since I lost my job I have felt lack of motivation to look for one. I've made some attempts and i even had a temporary job for 3 days. Yet the lack of motivation to look for a job just doesn't seem to grow in me. This is the first time in my life that I've been without a job ever since I started working at age 16. At first I felt frustrated and upset. Now that i started school and with my internship at Latinitas I'm enjoying my time without a job. I have the time I always wanted to work on my school assignments. I have the time to get ahead in my classes and take my time while I read class material. So my question is where do I find the motivation to find a job? Not having one has it's positive outcomes in my education, yet it's negative one because of lack of money. What can I do to push myself to find one? Or should I take some time off and enjoy it while I can and later find a job. It's been one month since I lost my job in which I had worked there for almost 5 years. I am simply frustrated.

I know we talked about this a bit yesterday, but at least take the summer off. Enjoy it but if you really need the money, then find a little part time job.

I agree with Sonia & I can also relate to the position you are in. While having to worry about money and college expenses is never fun, there are times when we need to take life on a more relaxed pace so we can recollect what we truly want in our lives! Take this time off to concentrate on your future goals and if you still feel frustrated a few months from now then it will drive you to find a better job & learn from your past experiences. :)

Don't worry too much about it. Enjoy your time off and concentrate on school like you have been doing. I think it's just a blessing in disguise. You'll get right back up and find a new MUCH BETTER job soon. :D
