Call for Papers for Special Session at the 2013 MLA Convention (Boston, Jan 3-6) Theorizing Indigenous Literatures in the Americas:

We seek papers that discuss the theoretical considerations of working with indigenous literatures in the Americas (North/South). What are salient analytical tools / methods / lenses for reading and researching indigenous texts? How does language (native or non-native) intervene in thinking through work with indigenous texts?
