Make It or Break It

So with all of this craziness about the 2012 London Olypics, the atheletes, the sports, and all the preparation that is required to make it there, I tought I could talk about a TV show that focuses on exactly that: the unbelievable journey to the olympics.
Make It or Break It is an ABC Family television show that tells the story of three teenage girls who have dedicated all of their lifes to accomplishing their goal of competing in the olympics. These girls have dedicated their whole lives to gymnastics and have sacrificed so many things because of the dedication and persistance that is needed for this sport. Their lives are gymnastics, day and night, weekdays and weekends, and their focus has to remain in gymnastics. These girls go to camps, and are part of the best gyms in the country with the best coaches available. But even with all of their talent and love for the sport, these girls show the journey of achievements, victoris, triumphs, and struggles, hardships, and downfalls that are part of this whole world. They have to live very hectic and demanding lives and are not able to be normal teenagers, who attend high school, go to football games, dances, parties, or even hang out with their friends. In order to be able to become and olympian, they dedicate all theit time, strength, and passion to the sport that is their life.
This television show is obviously fiction, but it does illustrate the dedication, time, focus, strength, and passion that is required to just be considered a potential member of the olympic team. Many people do not really think about these huge amounts of work that it takes to become the best, but this show truly depicts that. It is very entertaining and controversial. Make It ir Break It should be a show that everyone watches!
