Last night was one of the best nights of my life.

I watched Paris Je T'aime.....my best friend had told me that it was a great movie and I reall
y wanted to watch it.
So yesterday, Wednesday, part of my biweekly ritual is to go to Blockbuster to rent movie
s since it's 2 for 1 Wednesdays. I'd like to think that I'm the one keeping Blockbuster in business since Netflix and Red box have taken for movie rentals.
I still think that Blockbuster is cheaper and has more selection. I am usually a very busy person so I need more than 1 night to watch a movie and I don't watch movies very often so there are a lot of movies that I haven't watched. Also, I prefer foreign movies and Blockbuster has a lot that I've never watched including the o
ne from last night.
Sometimes when I feel like taking a risk, I rent a movie that I've never heard of, like the one I watched 3 weeks ago, "The year my parents went on vacation," a Brazilian movie that takes place during the 1970 World Cup and the harsh military dictatorship in Brazil where leftist political activists were persecuted. I really enjoyed the movie
But yesterday "Paris Je T'aime" was available and I took it with me to watch along with "An Education" - a great movie from England.....I loved the soundtrack!
The movie, Paris Je T'aime is formed out of a lot of stories dealing with love, heartbreak and everything in between. The short plots were produced by 22 different directors and a huge cast of actors and actresses including Natalie Portman and Elijah Wood in French, English and Spanish.
If you're looking for a different, creative and feel good movie, then check it out and keep an open mind. :))
