Proud 2B A Latina

I think Hispanic Heritage Month is cool cuz it brings attention to the Hispanic people and their contributions to this country. I think everyday should be Hispanic Heritage Month. I celebrate by going to special events. My school does different activities. Since I live on the border, there are lots of things to do this month like fiestas. I went to a carnival for Diez y Seis with yummy Mexican foods and bandas. I've seen some cool things on tv honoring Hispanics like the Alma awards. It was awesome seeing the Latinos that are representing us on tv and film.
