The killings are destroying our friends.

Today for my speech class we had to do a position speech.I sat their in my seat and listen to the students one by one talk about certain issues they favor. Some did not know what to talk about because they had no idea that there was an assignment for today, others just crashed and burned. There was one student that really opened my eyes and made me realize how bad Juarez has gotten. His position speech is that the police force in Juarez are incompetent and do not do anything to lessen the situations in Juarez. My classmate was so furious and sad because he said that this weekend his two friends were killed in a club shooting. The cops took more than 2 hours to get there. He strongly agrees if the cops would of gotten there his friends would of survived. His speech was strong but he missed the basic elements that was part of his grade. My classmate was so full of hate that all he was worried about was being mad towards the police force and the death of his friends that his grade in for the speech went out the window. Things should really get better or else the grades of students that live or have family members in Juarez are in jeopardy.
