The Throwaway Piece

im reading this book that is really intresting its called The Throwaway Piece im berly in chapter 3 but man this little girl has gone trough alot in the past 2 chapters her mom is looking for a new "daddy" and she found one that hits her and everything and doesnt treat her right but yet she does everything for him and lets him hit her like nothing then the cops come and they take him away and the mom tells the girl that she doesnt trust her anymore and the little girl is sad but then years pass and the little girl aint little no more she is a teenager she is 14 and her mom found her another "daddy" but this time the "daddy" want to touch her and he hit her right across the face and all she felt was bad and she could taste blood but the "daddy" still wants to abuse of her but the mom get back from the store because she forgot the money and the "Dad" lies about everything and yells at the mom and the mom starts crying but still the mom treats him like he is the king or something .The girls name is Jewel and she has gone trough alot the mom is just despret to have a relationship that she doesnt care if they treat her bad she just wants a man. But Jewel Knows better than that, her mom could do better and she is not stupid but dhe is sure acting stupid but Jewel cant do nothing about it.
This book is really good imma keep reading it and see what else Jewel has gone trough.
