What's your opinion on MEDIA TODAY?
Victoria Secret models are becoming skinnier and skinnier by each flash is taken. Models are being photo shopped and it affects us in the real world. Some girls become anorexic or vomit on purpose to lose weight and look like the models from magazines. It doesn't affect girls, it also affects guys, how? When guys see these types of things on television, movies and other parts of media, they captivate the idea that girls should look like this, and that men have the power to do anything they want. Also it captures the moment for guys to think that beauty is everything, that beauty is more important than how a girl is smart and unique in their own way. Girls become sick and try really hard to get skinnier so a man can like her for her looks not for her personality.
In your opinion, what should stop doing? And what should they start doing?

I think that the American media has a very strong influence over all of us. Not just in the US but to people around the world. It is true that there are many negative messages transmitted, and not just about physique, but also about what is the "coolest lifestyle" to have, like make a lot of money and buy a lot of things. It is sad to admit sometimes, that the media passes on a very materialistic point of view on people. We should have the power to see that this is what the media does, and that we should ignore and evade it.
Writing about it and passing the message along as you are doing now is a great way. I think we all have much to provide in order to improve the matter. Thanks for the insight!
