Why am I Proud to be a Latina?
Why am I proud to be a Latina? My father came to the U.S. from Mexico when he was just 12. His mother sent him here so that he could have better opportunities. He suffered but he made something of himself. I am grateful for what my father did and extremely proud to call him my dad. Being Latina for me is a reminder of all he did for me and my sisters.
