Words hurt more

We have been hit, punched, or got 

hurt physically

Our cuts and bruises heal and yet again we walk 

upon our feet

When we are lied to, told we are ugly,

fat, liar, loser, and etc.

These are burned within our souls for life

Our minds concentrate on making ourselves 

a better person and make people like you more

When we are told, "You are fat"  we concentrate on 

losing our weight,

trying to look like the models from Victoria Secret

When we find out our family member has been lying about

something so simple, anger eats us, devouring, tasting  us making

us scream at the top of our lungs and run away like a crazy coyote

Our tears stream down and hold our souls in place so we won't

lose control

We wait for someone to hug us, but in the end,

we end up on our own........

We all know how dark and cruel the world is,

when we dream we expect our dreams to become true, but in the

end, it's a big illusion

Words can stab us more than a knife can

Words can burns us and cause more damage than a fire

Words can choke us more than any kind of rope can

Words can make us take away our own lives more than a gun can

Words are more hurtful than any physical injury

In our world, words are the kind that kill more human being 

than any other weapon can..........
